BIO
Joshua Gleason is a filmmaker, organizer, and educator based in Long Beach, CA. His narrative work tackles alienation & desire through the lenses of gesture, repetition, and time. Josh also serves as a union and community organizer, developing campaigns and strategic communications to agitate for the advancement of working class struggles.
Josh received a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and holds his M.F.A. in Film Directing from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
